Subject to availability of resources and administrative
approval, the Department of Mathematics solicits applications for two
non-tenure-track J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professors for the 2008-2009
academic year.
The J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professorship is a three-year position
offered to recent Ph.D.'s with outstanding research potential.
Candidates in all areas of pure mathematics, including analysis,
mathematical physics, geometric analysis, complex and algebraic
geometry, number theory, and topology are encouraged to apply. The
teaching load is three courses per academic year.
