For other hotel possibilities at this late date, we suggest that you try your favorite hotel or travel website. There are numerous hotels in downtown Baltimore. The Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus is some three miles north of downtown (not walkable) and is reachable by the 3 or 11 bus lines. (You do NOT want the Hopkins medical campuses, which are east of downtown.) Hotels generally require advance payment for one night by credit card to hold a reservation. There are also many hotels in outlying areas, which may offer you a better price, but probably necessitate using taxis or renting a car. Visitor parking on campus is $8 or $10 per day on weekdays, but free on weekends.
