usage during the conference on

Desktop computers:
There will be three Windows desktop computers in
Krieger Hall 211 during the conference. The login name is mathuser4. Password will be given in the
conference package you receive.
To access departmental Linux server,
double click the "Chow" icon on the desktop. The login name is guest. Password
will be given in the conference package you receive.
Wireless connection:
For the duration of this conference only, there will be an open wireless access point located on the second
floor of Krieger Hall. The SSID is mathconf. No password (WEP key) is required. From available wireless networks that your
laptop detects, choose mathconf.
Printing:
To print from the desktop computers, choose
the printer "ps207". The printer is located in Krieger 209.
To print from departmental Linux server, again
specify the printer ps207, e.g, lpr -Pps207.
Receiving/Sending
email:
Use web-based email system if possibly. If you
want to use your own email client but can not send email, change your SMTP server to smtp.johnshopkins.edu. If you
connect through "mathconf" wireless network, you should be able to send messages
from your email client (with no authentication and SSL disabled).
