There are three airports in the vicinity of Baltimore and
Washington, D.C.
1) BWI (Baltimore-Washington
International Airport) http://www.bwiairport.com/
Nearest airport to Baltimore located approximately 13 miles south of the city. By taxi, 20

Travel between BWI Airport and Baltimore Penn Station:
- Light Rail runs between Penn Station and the International Terminal (Pier E)
at the Airport. It runs every 17 minutes, takes about one hour. Baggage space is limited.

reach Penn Station, take any train and transfer at University of
Baltimore/Mount Royal station to the Penn Station Light Rail train.
- Amtrak or MARC trains to Penn Station. It takes about 10 minutes to Penn Station,
but this tends to be slow because Amtrak trains are not very frequent; also,
